A Story Born from a Love of Ice Cream.
Everything started with our children – little ice cream lovers for whom a day without ice cream was simply unthinkable. In our home, it didn’t matter whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner – ice cream could appear on the table at any time of day. There was just one rule: no one could go more than three days without it!
We tried everything – from fluffy Whippy ice creams to refreshing frozen yogurts. But the real magic happened during a family holiday. One day, our children tasted soft-serve swirls – the very same flavor we remembered from our own childhood. One lick was all it took for them to fall in love. From that moment on, every vacation became a countdown to the next swirl.
When we returned home, we couldn’t help but wonder – why was this incredible taste so hard to find in our area? Why should something that brings so much joy be so rare? Then, came the unexpected question from our children: “Why don’t we make swirls ourselves?”
At first, it seemed like a joke, but the idea quickly took shape. Why not bring the flavors of our childhood to our own neighborhood? Why not create a place where both kids and adults could relive their sweetest memories?
And so, CoolDown was born – from passion, family memories, and a love of ice cream. Today, we are the ones bringing people that special taste that once put a smile on our faces. Because there’s always time for ice cream!

A Story of Passion and Support
Turning our idea into reality proved far more challenging than we had imagined – especially for someone with no prior experience in running a business. But with determination, incredible support from our children, family, neighbors, and even a group of enthusiastic scouts, we took one step at a time toward making our dream come true.
They were our first taste testers
Eagerly sampling flavors, evaluating textures, and perfecting the shape of our swirls late into the night. We quickly realized that crafting the perfect swirl was an art in itself!After years of trial and error and countless hours spent perfecting our ice cream, we are finally here – proudly serving you the flavors that connect generations. CoolDown was built on a love of ice cream and people, and every swirl we make is a little piece of our story.
